Copper Candy ~ Music Promotion Edits

Role: Video Editor and Creative Director

What I did: Produced a series of promotional video edits for Copper Candy, an independent artist releasing original music after four decades. The project required building a visual identity from scratch using preexisting elements of cinema.

Creative decisions: Each edit was built as a tone poem โ€” the goal was to make the viewer feel the music before they consciously registered what they were watching. I worked from mood and texture rather than narrative, matching visual rhythm to the specific emotional register of each track. The edits are cohesive as a series while remaining distinct by song.

What it was designed to produce: A consistent visual identity across promotional content that could introduce the artist's sound to a new audience without prior context. Content that could function independently across social platforms while building a recognizable aesthetic over time.
